Regarding the position of Copywriter currently advertised on Creative Pool, please find attached a copy of my CV for your consideration.
I am a PR Assistant, Music Blogger and Senior Writer for an online tastemaker music website currently living in Manchester, UK. I am passionate about journalism, digital PR, social media marketing and copywriting, and I hope to expand my talents with a job that will help me apply my skills; gaining valuable experience in wider fields.
Reading through your advert, I believe I would be an excellent candidate for the job role. I am a self-starter with excellent experience in editorial roles through freelancing with a number of start up companies, including my own. I have advanced writing and communication skills, and am extremely adept at using my own initiative within a pressurised environment.
In addition to my editorial work, I currently direct my own PR agency; my roles include copywriting mail outs and press releases, extensive multi channel social media marketing, establishing lasting contacts with both press and artists in the music industry, and developing effective PR strategies.
