I work in a small design team. Over the past 5 years without a design manager. I report to the Marketing manager who is based in Holland. Because of my managers distance the running of the UK design department has been left up to me. Im a confident leader of design. And have enjoyed managing the design departments workload, timings and budgets. Because of my experience in my present role. Managing a design team and its workload is something that I am confident that I can do very successfully. As I have done this for many years without the title of manager.

Im a proactive and confident leader of design with extensive computer skills with design software. As well as excellent marker visual,and drawing skills. In addition to working within a budget to important and tight deadlines.

I have an accomplished career presenting new design concepts and trends to important customers, sales teams and marketing departments. As well as working on dedicated accounts. Designing for, and presenting to licences such as, Disney, Warner Bros, Hello Kitty and the BBC are an important part of my role. I love working in a team. I am also highly motivated when working on my own. I am happy to travel at short notice whenever needed. I have an excellent understanding of design trends. By visiting international design exhibitions. This has given me a strong knowledge of future international trends.
