Dear Sir or Madam,

I graduated from the University of Wales Institute in Cardiff (UWIC) with a 2.1 class honours BA degree in Multimedia Product Design in 2005. I am looking to further my career in this field and develop my skills and abilities.

I am writing to enquire whether there are any positions available in your company and to that end have attached a copy of my CV. My degree has afforded me many opportunities to gain experience and skills that are vital in the design field. I took part in the BT-Alloy competition in Nov 2004 designing a futuristic phone. My sign-language interpreting phone won 2nd place in the national competition and BT has taken on the design for further development. I have also done some free-lance work designing websites for new businesses.

During my course I have learnt to use many software programmes including Adobe Photoshop CS2, Macromedia MX Series (including Actionscripting), Alias Studiotools, Illustrator CS2, AutoCAD LT, Corel draw X3 and Maya as well as the full compliment of Microsoft Office software. I am a quick learner and enjoy the challenge of getting to grips with new programmes.
