Dear Sir/Madame,
I'm applying for the Junior copywriter position and I would be grateful if you could give me the opportunity to work at your company and contribute in any possible way I can. I am passionate about fashion industry,writing about fashion and production.
I have completed my undergraduate studies in Media and Communication at the Kapodistriako University of Athens and continued my studies further by studying Fashion Journalism at Central Saint Martins in London. I have completed internships and worked as a freelancer for various magazines, newspapers and websites including Vogue Hellas, Cosmopolis New York magazine, Mensguide and many more, you can refer to my CV for further details. I have gained so much from my work experience, I have learned how important it is to be a team player, to take initiatives and overcome problems.
In 2011 I launched my own blog to express my interest and write about everything I love and excites me and remain constantly inspired. Having my own blog gave me the opportunity to bring some of my ideas to life, for example a fashion editorial as you can see here , which had me noticed by the fashion designers G.Egglezos and NatarGeorgiou who approached me for a collaboration. This resulted me being the creative director of the G.Egglezos SS13 campaign and being part of the production team for the NatarGeorgiou campaigns. I have been covering London, Paris and Milan Men's Fashion Weeks since January 2013. This expanded my knowledge and experience for the fashion industry and trends.
I feel that in order to work efficiently; both enthusiasm and knowledge are requires. Although knowledge is something that can be acquired by anyone enthusiasm is not. I have the desire commitment and ambition to contribute and make an impact in my field. I believe that my skills and ideas would be interesting and valuable. I'm young, enthusiastic, positive, passionate and hardworking. I look forward to the challenges that working for your company will bring.
