About me

Dears,
After about 15 years of trying out different roles at corporates, early-stage startups, watching more "find your passion" keynotes than I'd like to admit, running my own business, and convincing my parents that, yes, I really do have a real job, I'm starting to come to terms with the fact that I'm really good at 3 things; dealing with people, getting sh*t done as well as creating meaningful communication and getting it out into the world.
You might be wondering what I am doing applying to this vacancy. While I agree it may seem a little strange, I know you're looking for someone who's equally creative and organised, and I think that means I'm your best fit for the particulars of these job, as you've defined them.
Why

I learned the art and ethics of customer experience at Vodafone, in the early days, when those concepts still meant something there. Mike from New Zealand was my trainer & mentor then. He empowered us and taught us the real value of what we do and the importance of ownership, communication and alignment. He always used to tell us; "If it's not emailed, it didn't happen". I've stuck with that principal and built teams who subscribed and could live up to it as well.
I had to cultivate a manner to survive all sorts of customer complaints and handle all sorts of emotions. In fact, I've been praised for it by supervisors and colleagues on many occasions. I have helped brands live up to their promise and build a loyal community of fans not just followers.

Aside from the requisite industry bona-fides in my CV, I bring the following to the table:
I will make Asana a crucial part of everyone's lives.
I will not settle for half-a**ed anything, there has to be some thought put into
everything that is done
I am a communications devotee all the way
I can hook you up with different suppliers for any sort of service you need to grow your business

In a world driven by numbers, my passion is for art, reading, psychology and finding what connects us humans. This led me to work in brand marketing, to start creating more meaningful communication and to add value to both my clients and their audience. Though working in media/marketing can be very draining, i think it matters who you do it for and the kind of messages we put out there in the world, therefore it would be such an honour if i get to help you with what you do.
In closing, if you're looking for someone who will blindly do what everyone does and doesn't like to rock the boat, I'm probably not the right candidate. But if you need someone who can dig in to data, see what's working (and what's not), and challenge the status quo, let's talk.
