Why hire me

I've just graduated from Harlow College with an NCTJ/PTC degree in magazine journalism and news writing. I have Teeline at 60wpm. I'm a lively personality passionate about writing with excellent communication skills, I'm not frightened of grabbing the 'bull by the horns' rolling up my sleeves and mucking in - we've all gotta start somewhere!

I'm up for a challenge and there's nothing I want more (maybe to win the lotto) than to get into the vivacious exciting industry of the magazine world.

I've had three articles published, my first; a 1400-word Christmas shopping guide for Essex Life magazine. I carried out all research and every word was my own.

The other two were for the Hertfordshire Mercury - my local rag. One was about 80s pop sensation Kim Wilde opening a breast cancer unit - unfortunately I didn't get to meet her maybe next time! The other was a promotional piece for a travel agency I worked for.
