Bio Mariano Rocky Ríos ( Bestia Visual Studio )
Born 1977, Buenos Aires, Argentina. Artist, Designer & Animation Director. Founder of
Bestiapeluda Visual Studio (Bestiapeluda) he started working on advertising agencies as an
art director for graphics ads and comercial films, more that 10 years. After to this started to
study direction of cinema of animation for 5 years and founded his self studio, working on
commercial animation for mayor international channels and brands (Coca Cola, Ford, Mtv
Channel, Sony, Disney, NatGeo, AXN, Fox, Nike, Ford, Aboslut, etc). Directed and CoDirected
several Music Videos for
argentine bands and Directed and Produced shorts animation movies, Paper Boy, Flies
planning something (currently under development to be presented at the Annecy Festival 2017).
Youth influenced by others artists, urban culture, skateboarding and traveling. Graduated as
director of animation movies at the University of
Avellaneda (IDAC), where he was called to talk about advertising industry.
He added studies of illustration, photography, silkscreen and animation and, after working at
brasilian market until today for production companies and motion graphics agencies as
freelance director.
In 2010, he moved to Madrid, Spain, to open a new office of Bestiapeluda visual Studio working
for broadcasts in Iberia and rest of Europe. With the
creative team he developed the produced visuals for important concerts, raves
and festivals in LatinAmerica and Iberia.
At the contemporary art field, Mariano Ríos (aka Bestia ) today lives in Madrid, working and in
relation with these projects:
