About me
Hello! My name is Marian Hendy. I'm an emerging artist based in London, recently graduated from Kingston University with a BA degree with hons in Illustration and Animation , and I am hoping to pursue my dream of working in the world of animation.
I have always had a great love and admiration for the field of animation as, in my opinion, it is one of the best forms of storytelling. It is a medium that allows the creator to illustrate their narratives however they wish, without any of the restraints or limitations that comes with reality; animation is only limited by the skill and imagination of the artists. It is this limitlessness that drew me to animation as my primary form of storytelling.
The majority of my work focuses on the visual development of animation, exploring the visual aesthetic and imagery of a story, its characters and environments, and attempting to illustrate the progression of the story through rough storyboards and animatics. If given the opportunity, I would love to practice these skills in a professional environment and work towards producing amazing visual stories as part of a team.
