About me
After working as a clothing and footwear designer in Italy and
the US for about 12 years, ten years ago Maria decided to become an
illustrator. Her work reflects her versatility and occasional
eccentricity as former designer, combining various materials, textures
and painting. She also never stopped loving fine art, and she keeps
painting using and mixing various materials like enamel, oils, papers
and anything else that may be suitable at the moment.. creating
collages that have a strong graphic impact. Her work has appeared on
numerous publications and she has taken part to exhibits in Milan,
Paris and New York. She is currently planning her next exhibit in
Holland.
