As a professional writer and editor who has advanced through various roles over the years, I offer the perfect mix of analytical, strategic SEO copywriting experience, editorial content development, leadership ability, and eagle-eye editing that your next Content Director requires.
As your company grows, engaging, customer-focused content will become the connective tissue between consumers and the the products and services they need and love. In my current role as a content and branding consultant for various entities, I research trends, customer pain points, and keyword search algorithms to build content calendars that stay on top of seasonal and issue-based content to draw in customers and keep them active inside the brand. I also write website copy that quickly connects, and I pen articles and social media posts that all compliment and strengthen my clients brands.
But my expertise also goes beyond the copywriting and marketing world. I was Managing Editor for an independent publisher of fiction and nonfiction titles, Content Editor for an arts website where I managed a team of freelance writers, an adjunct instructor teaching journal publishing and writing courses and heading the school literary magazine, and a freelance book editor helping new and emerging authors ready their books for publication. I have also been working remotely for the past five years, which speaks to my ability to work with teams from afar while staying focused and motivated from my office in Easthampton, MA.
