About me

To whom it may concern,

My name is Maria Sauh. I originally come from Tallinn, Estonia, but I've been living in England for the last two years, studying BA Photography at Staffordshire University. During this period I did a couple of photoshoots for wemen's magazine Yana in Estonia, did a photoshoot for L'oreal new hair care products presentation, also worked as a photographer at Davis Cup 2007 in Estonia; and a number of photoshoots with models who would hire me to put together their portfolio or a book. Also, in the summer of 2008, I worked in the packaging design agency Claessens Product Consultants, located in Hilversum, Netherlands. I was responsible for:

- The creative idea of a final image for a certain product

- Light and accessories set up

- Technical advising on how things would work best in a photograph for a certain product

- Retouching

In the past, I studied Fashion and Interior Design, which helps me to create more creative and artistic sets. My studies at the Staffordshire University are very special because of the fact that they connect not only the technical side of the photograph, but also it's meaning and the message behind it. This combination granted me the knowledge of producing professional photographs.

At this point, I want to improve my Fashion Photography and Event photography skills, because this is what I personally like the most.
