About me
Maria is a digital artist and her interests include mediated technological elements relating art and performance/scenography. She has participated in various exhibitions and festivals including sound design experiments, digital installations, set design, experimental animation and short films. She has directed several performances from various types of dance, such as classical ballet, contemporary dance and street dance, combining computer software/hardware and projection mapping techniques. She is currently a Masters by Research student in Hertfordshire University investigating digital scenography through the art of dance and technology. At the same time she works professionally as a web designer using html5/css3 and JavaScript.
