About me

I am
a worldly-experienced womenswear designer with a BA (Hons) Fashion
Design and Technology- Womenswear, degree at London College of Fashion
for the year, 2008. Fashion design at LCF has been my second fashion
design degree. I have worked for high fashion design companies here in
London (Jasmine di Milo) as design assistant, project womenswear
designer for FCouture London and at present at Alexander McQueen as an
apprentice/design associate and all focusing on assisting on Prints/
Graphic, Fabrication, and Design Research and Development. I have been
selected as part of ASOS LTD 100's designers for 2008, and designed for
I-D magazine London's January issue and website. Even before LCF I have
ventured ventured into my own label back in the Philippines, which is
my home country. I have also gained
experience in New York City haven taken a Post Graduate Certificate
course in the Fashion Business which focused on Design, Marketing,
Management and Styling. During this period I had worked under
the tutelage of Buyers for Saks Fifth Avenue, Stylists for
Harpers Bazaar USA and designers like Michael Kors and the highly
acclaimed Fashion Institute of Technology
instructors. I assure you that I am not in my entry level upon application. I
have been in the industry since 2005 with my own company specializing
in made-to measure occasion wear. I staged major fashion shows; in
london in 2008, and recently a charity solo show AT KENSINGTON TEMPLE
on February 6, 2010, and am preparing for a grand solo collection show
for June 16, 2010 at the Dartmouth House in Mayfair. In the Philippines
I have also staged 3 fashion shows between the years , which
includes a range of formal wear/bridal/lifestyle
collection. Before leaving for London and putting a hold onto my made-to
measure label, I expanded into consignment in 2006, which continually
sells only in the Philippines. My work has been featured in different
local magazines ranging from prom, casual, formal and club/cocktail-
wear. Having run my own successful luxury label since 2005, I have
developed great relations with different global resources, that I can
offer that no other international starting designer can
give. Prior to fashion, I hold a BA
Communication Arts degree and expanded my craft in the line of
multi-media arts, such as; TV, Film, Photography and Styling for
Fashion Photography.At present, I am interested
in working in the field of womenswear design/ graphic design, which
your company may be offering as an open position. I am very flexible
when it comes to salary range.It is in my
interest, because your company has been a household name and has been
of great influence to my design career. I myself am a consumer of these
labels and it would be a privilege for me to contribute the best of my
abilities and work with you as a team.
