About me

I come from Slovakia, where I have accomplished my high school and university education. During high school I have spent a year in Japan as an exchange student, which had a huge impact on my self development to become independent, self-reliant and responsible for my own deeds. During this time I become to learn about the Japanese language, calligraphy, manners and culture, which gave me a different view on the way-of-living, on art and design. The reason for mentioning these three aspects is because in my opinion they can't operate with- out each other. The Japanese culture and the way of thinking has taught me to understand the beauty of simplicity and to find harmony and connection in modest things.

After returning back I have successfully finished my studies and got accepted to the Academy of Fine Arts and Design, Bratislava. There I have attended 2 years of Product design and last 2 years of Transportation design course, where I had the chance to work on projects together with big car companies such as Volkswagen, Kamaz and Audi. During my last year, in 2014, I have been attending a 6 month long internship at Audi AG at the Exterior design department in Ingolstadt, Germany. I have gained a lot of experiences there, mainly in working in a team, being precise and detailed, and I have mastered a lot of other new skills, like digital sketching and CAD modelling. Though I have always known that my biggest aim is to become a professional Fashion de- signer I have chosen to gain experience in other fields of design, so that I can understand

the language of materials and shapes, the way we perceive forms and colours, technology and art itself. This is also an explanation why I always try to go forward than the latest trends and invent new ones, colours and shapes and not to stick with the mainstream, ideological views on beauty. For me fashion is the best way to express all of my thoughts and to show how I perceive the world and it's story.

In the most recent years I worked with a Slovak based design company Werkemotion s.r.o. I faced challenging tasks on a daily basis, thanks to which I could develop my working ethics and learn to do quality work even with a tight schedule. During this time I've been asked by a luxury brand called Christian Barrett to design polo shirts and man's suits for their new collection which enabled me to get closer to the fashion world and to gain experience in a professional environment. Besides the errands I have started to pursue my own ambitions in fashion design in a form of creating my own collections. I have learned how to tailor and sew in an early age, as well as to draw and sketch, and all these help me to make my creations come true, ending each elaborated design plan in a real and complete wearable out t. I believe if there is something I want to earn in life I have to work hard for that and I should immediately develop each good idea to perfection.
