About me
A recent arts and culture graduate, looking to gain real-world experience in the creative field. All in all, I consider myself a thoughtful, dedicated and positive-minded individual; I'm keen to learn from those around me and strive to accomplish all tasks to the best of my ability.
After graduating from the University of York with a B.A in English Literature, I took a sabbatical year and worked as a language assistant in Spain as well as at summer camps. I then moved across to the Netherlands to complete an Arts and Culture MA at Maastricht University. Most notably, during my MA studies, I was selected to present my thesis research at Stanford University's GLS Symposium, where I spoke on the present-day state of British migrant films.
I look back on these experiences working full-time in the educational field, in addition to my rigorous interdisciplinary studies in the arts and social sciences, as having provided me with a strongly transferrable skillset. In the meantime, I'm excited to hopefully dig my teeth into working experiences more closely aligned with my career interests and aspirations
