About me
Industrial designer experienced in commercial design and corporate identity.
Throughout my commercial design career, I have developed projects for schools, shops, hospitals, pharmacies, receptions, offices and bespoke furniture. I have overlooked and developed projects from ideation through to completion. Interior projects include the visitor seating for Southmead Hospital in Bristol and extensive work at Queen Alexandra Hospital in Portsmouth.
I have also worked in a variety of corporate identity and visual communication for different companies in the South of England. Work has included packaging, marketing campaigns, exhibition design, web design, digital marketing and printed communications for organisations like Ken Rand Partners, The Student's Union at Bournemouth University, CTS Europe, SC Vital Fitness, Stickers4Walls, Griffin Designs.
I hold a MA (Distinction) and a BA (1ST Class hons) in Industrial Design from Bournemouth University and was awarded the 'Best Industrial Design Student' prize 2013. During my Master's studies, I conducted research in the area of retail atmospherics. The research study was concerned with the application of random patterns in retail interiors.
I believe in hard work and commitment and consider myself very independent. Colleagues describe me as a wise individual with exceptional business awareness. My technical skills include sketching, AutoCAD/ TurboCAD, Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, Solidworks, SketchUp, Dreaweaver, Wordpress, html and CSS. I am a confident designer and particularly have a good eye for the finer details, composition and presentation.
