About me

My last employer was a High Street supplier of suits, semi-formal and casual outerwear. Within a six months of joining the company I progressed from assistant to senior designer position and feel that my experience and positive attitude, as well as my passion for creating beautiful commercially successful collections, would benefit your company.

The main expectation I have from a job is its potential for learning and professional development.

- An imaginative and innovative approach to my design work and a good understanding and appreciation of traditional and contemporary Menswear.

- Awareness of the industry's requirement for commercially successful designs. I have extensive experience of working within a tight budget.

During my time at Mabro I worked with a client base ranging from Primark and Blue Inc to Moss Bros and Lakeland. I acquired a good knowledge of European and Far Eastern manufacturers of quality fabrics. Working in a small family run company producing over half a million garments a year allowed me to get involved in every aspect of the business from liaison with buyers to quality control to design.

My own work is very concept-led, yet I value my ability to adapt my method of working to the demands of a particular brief/market.
