About me

I'm currently working as a Midweight Designer at Greymatter Williams and Phoa (GMWP), an award winning Design Agency specialising in Annual Reports, literature and branding. Previously I was employed by Black Sun, working on a range of projects from annual reports to loyalty magazines and have spent time undertaking graduate placements at Landor, Interbrand and Wolff olins.

Clients include: BA, Premier Oil, Abbey, NewGen, RSA, HBOS, SES, Arena, Wessanen and L&G. I've also designed numerous in-house projects including GMWP marketing communications, posters as well as undertaking several freelance assignments.

I see my role as a designer to develop clear, communicative and expressive design for our clients, working closely with the Creative Director and our strategic team. I am client facing, presenting concepts and working with the clients to meet their requirements. My role encompasses commissioning and art directing photographers and illustrators, negotiating fees and writing briefs. I am very experienced with press passing and have a sound understanding of the print process, especially in annual reporting.

With over 4 years of intensive annual report and literature design under my belt, I'm well placed for new challenges and am excited by the prospect of learning new approaches and sharing the experiences I have gained.
