About me

Dear Sir/Madam,

I relocated to London in 2007, from Cape Town, South Africa where
I

was working primarily in Post Production,creating animation and
motion

graphics for advertising agencies and T.V and film productions.

I was the sole designer/animator for a childrens series called 'African
Sky Stories' consisting of 11 episodes.

The series format was one of a storyteller telling children the
traditional african stories, supported by the animated segments I
created.

Time was very limited, and I enjoyed the challenge and animating such
imaginative stories.

I have also done animated segments for 'Takalani Sesame'. The African
Sesame Street.

I've also enjoyed creating music videos and illustrating for fashion
Labels;

IRON FIST, based in California, available in London, U.S.A, S.A ,
Australia, china, and online;

and MISFIT,based in South Africa, available in South Africa, Germany,
Bali, Australia and online,

as well as Miss Milne, based in London/Bali- available in Topshop and
London.

Since I've been in the U.K; I have worked for an Outdoor Broadcasting
Company, managing numerous projects simultaneously. Creating
commercials from scratch for broadcast at major cultural and sporting
events across the globe within very tight deadlines in a fast paced
working environment.

I had the responsibility of liaising with clients and screen
organizers, and delivering final spots for broadcast on big outdoor LED
screens. Created and delivered commercials for Bluetooth
advertising.

I studied Advertising with specialization in Art Direction and Design,
and won

first prize for a billboard design for a luxury hotel group while
there.

I have strong conceptual skills and am very keen working

across all types of media.

I believe my background, creativity and experience will prove to be
an

asset to your team.
I have experience in various graphic/editing/animation/web software,
and am

always striving to learn more and improve my skills.

Personal qualities include client facing skills, presentable appearance
and

a creative brain . I am very conscientious about

meeting deadlines, briefs, and completing tasks unsupervised or
working

together on a team.
