About me

Marek is a very interdisciplinary designer—with background in information design and visual communication, product and human-centred design, digital media and art. Currently Marek combines close design collaborations with scientists and academic researchers, with a personal exploration of the interplay between design and science.

Marek exhibits across Europe and speaks internationally at conferences and invited talks. Most recently he showed 'The End of Hearing' at the acclaimed 'Design Faction' exhibition during Lodz Design Festival and at Zamek Cieszyn, PL. His MA thesis 'Lingia Extraterrestris' had been discussed at 'The History and Philosophy of Astrobiology' conference on Tycho Brahe's

island Ven, SE, and at the AbSciCon2012 conference organised by NASA in Atlanta, USA.

Marek studied Product Design at Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw, PL, interaction design at ZHdK (former HGKZ) in Zürich, CH, and Communication Design at Central Saint Martins College of Art and Design in London, UK.

He currently lives and works in London, UK.

Member of IIID (International Institute for Information Design) and STGU (Association of Applied Graphics Designers).
