I read the offer of the creative artworker role with interest, I have recently finished working on a design team on contract updating their corporate branding. I was responsible for ensuring that their various digital and print media stayed to guidelines and drafted the templates myself. For some years prior to this I have been working as a freelancer on a variety of projects working on briefs across several disciplines including print, illustration and typography.I feel that working as part of this team honed my ability to multi-task and work autonomously, skills that were needed here. Because I have been working in an office environment as well as working as a designer I believe I have developed a skill set rarely found in potential creative workers.

- I come from a creative background and know how to work with the client to close a brief whilst at the same time I can manage their expectations in regards to time frame and what can and can't be achieved within it

- As stated I have worked for some time in a corporate office environment as part of a close knit team, this taught me how important it is to work as a cohesive unit, keeping lines of communication as open as possible.

- I'm able to work without the need for close supervision and manage my time independently

- Whilst I work well in a team setting I can lead as well as I follow, working hard to offer solutions to any arising issues.

- Due to my years working in several front of house and client facing roles I have developed an excellent manner and communication skills.

I greatly enjoyed my time working as part of a close team and would look forward to being so again, where I can use my practical skills alongside my illustrative and creative talent. I feel this job would be meet what I am looking for, one where I could really stretch my creative prowess, making a great fit for me.
