About me

My name is Marcus Brathwaite and I have been studying for the past four years in Multimedia. I initially decided that I wanted to study for this subject because I found interesting the way in which Multimedia fuses video, audio, digital design and digital animation together to achieve various outcomes.

Whilst on the course I've learnt a large amount of skills that I think have dramatically increased my creative abilities, knowledge and ways of expression, whilst at the same time enjoying the constructive feedback from students and tutors. I think my free hand drawing skills have also largely improved as I've learnt the process of development and concepts, which is something I thoroughly I enjoy. The use of colour, font type, animation, negative space and layouts are some of the other aspects which I've been trying to incorporate into my own work which in my opinion are skills that I've obtained and now understand.

I am currently working as an assistant chef ,part time which i've been doing since I've been studying, I have enjoyed this aspect of my personal life because it has allowed me to be creative on a totally different level, whilst still installing the necessity for time management skills and working under pressure. I hope to increase my knowledge of Illustrative design, modelling and animation software and the use of different non digital Medias so that I can work effectively without limitations.
