Hello,
My CV will give you the formalities of my career progression and what I do but I'll
take this opportunity to tell you a bit more about me.
I'm an established copywriter with 5 years of blended experience between
freelance and agency work, living in Cornwall, UK.
Before embarking on a
copywriting career I spent 15+ years in sales, most notably working for Renault,
Dacia and Vauxhall. These rich experiences helped me to form a deep
understanding of the customer journey, and the nuances brands must navigate to
maximise efforts at every stage of the journey. I've been applying this knowledge
through various marketing channels and formats ever since.
In terms of client work, I've written for a multitude of industries, including medical,
automotive, fashion, travel, tech and retail. This entails all manner of copywriting
from blogs to paid ads to email and website CRO.
Having worked with agencies, and as a freelancer, and for a variety of clients (big and
small), I'm looking to put my skills to use under a company that truly values a
human approach in marketing. And how utilising the full breadth of the funnel can
help not only push KPIs but also elevate brands beyond their expectations.
