About me

Hello

I'm currently working as a graphic designer at Faculty of Fine Arts of University of Porto. In this position I have responsabilities such as managing the School's identity, creating booklets and divulgation for the press for its promotion, doing posters and catalogues for exhibitions, and also the signage.

We work alot in cooperation with the Printmaking Workshop, so I have a really nice experience with silkscreen print, and preparing files for pre-production. Even though we use our own resources most of the time, we also work with graphic companies and I have to do the final artwork, preparing the project to go print. ALso, I've worked in webdesign, with PHP and CSS, and also wordpress.

It is my first job, and I've learnt alot from it. I started printing with other techiques that I never tried, it gave me responsability and the notion of organization and scheduling of the different tasks. Also, even though I work alone most of the year, in the last semester of the academic year, I receive interns from the BA Communication Design, so I have to manage their work and supervise them.

I'm thinking about moving to London, because as I studied in the school, and now I work there, I feel I need to move on other things, and eventually have a different experience in graphic design.

Also, I think your with Tesco packaging is really great
