About me
I am a Visual Communicator specialised in photography, photo editing and graphic design. I was born in Africa, adopted and grew up in Italy. I studied at the European Institute of Design (Milan) and graduated with a fashion portfolio about "Appearances and Reality". I worked for famous Italian brands like Prada and Vogue. Where for the first time I had the opportunity to work alongside other creative individuals and see how a product comes to life.
In recent years I moved to the UK where I worked as a freelancer collaborating with various Companies such as Lumiere London, Harper's Bazaar and Spot Light. I was exposed to different creative media such as: graphic design, painting, photo retouch and video editing to enhance the look and feel of a company. This also gave me the opportunity to collaborate with different groups of people and use my own creative style where I also made sure to listen to everything my clients wanted to deliver their ideas.
I also worked at Matalan as a Photo Retoucher for few years. I have become accustomed to working in a fast-paced environment where I always meet deadlines. My work has been displayed in catalogues, billboards, magazines, on social media, shop fronts and the company website. I have loved working with a family brand that work together to provide value for money.
I am currently working in Blink Photo. A friendly, commercially minded, full service creative agency, filled with talented people focused on telling amazing brand and product stories in creative ways. Where I learnt more to work on ecommerce, to interact directly with clients and work to delivery into deadline what requested.
I am extremely passionate about living and working creatively. I work on projects also outside of my job such as: designing band t-shirts, creating logos and have designed the front cover of a textbook. I am an avid reader who also enjoys poetry, painting, watching and analysing movies and playing several instruments. I am a natural leader that also loves to work as part of a team. I mentor and volunteer at Samaritans where I nurture and coach new team members. Further to this I take the lead to organise meetups within Liverpool to bring people together from across the world. This all demonstrates my ability to work well with others not just in my work life but also in my personal life.
