About me

Dear Sir/Madam,

I have recently completed my MA degree in Graphic Design from the University of Central Lancashire, UK. I am from India and I came to UK to pursue my Masters.

Currently, I am working with Jam Design & Publication Ltd, UK. Jam produces monthly community magazines in Preston, Lancashire. I work on the layout of the magazine, making them print ready as well as designing advertisements for various clients who advertise in them. I have been working with them as a graphic designer since the last 8 months.

I have more than 2 years of work experience back in India where I worked as a Graphic Designer for an advertising agency. The task assigned was that of a Visualiser & Graphic designer portraying a Creative & versatile role right from Conceptualizing, providing apposite taglines & designing Advertisements, Banners, Brochures, Invitations etc. Also involved in proposing Innovative, Marketing and Promotion Strategies for FMCG products.

My experience in design packages include Adobe CS5 Indesign, PhotoShop and Illustrator all at advanced levels. Through being presentable, professional and articulate, my work experience in the industry allows me the added dimension of being highly competent in my job.

Being in a place like United Kingdom; studying and working here has given me an exposure of the work culture and the professional environment of this place too. Also now that I have finished my Masters, I look forward to getting some more hands on experience in the field of graphic design here in UK.

My previous job was interesting, and I'm sure the next opportunity will be good too. I'm glad about the prospect for change and I hope that you can help me towards a positive change.

Thank you for your consideration. I appreciate your time in reviewing my qualifications and look forward to speaking to you at your earliest convenience.

Sincerely

Manjula Yadav
