About me
When I see people smiling at my pictures I know that I have been successful in my ambition. As for style, I aim for my pictures to look like they have been drawn effortlessly and no one could see hours of hard work and years of practice behind them. I am influenced by Quentin Blake, Winnie Gebhardt-Gayler and Benji Davies. My objective is to achieve that feeling of levity and fun in my illustrations.
I am passionate about my work and the images I produce, but I am always calm and constructive in stressful times.
My professional experience includes working as a graphic designer in a publishing house and in a multi-national advertising agency. As a part of the team of designers, I worked on projects for diverse clients, including large international corporations (P&G, Philip Morris).
Whilst working for the international advertising agency I have learned to ask the right questions to clarify my customer's requirements. For a project, I set the milestones, calculate the time required, define a clear budget and constantly keep the client informed. I am experienced in sensitive projects and the related confidentiality agreements.
For my technical skills, I use both traditional and digital media allowing me to select the best tools for the project and simplifies editing. I utilise RGB and CMYK, vector and bitmap, and JPG, PSD, TIFF, EPS, PNG, PDF formats. I use Adobe Suite along with other software tools as required.
