About me

Since graduating in 2001, Whyte was selected from his degree show to
join Design Research as a junior designer which later became part of
Arup Automotive, an automotive design consultancy within Ove Arup and
Partners. From automotive design and styling to product design, 3D
modeling and 2D graphics, Malcolm Whyte is a highly motivated designer,
experienced with the demands of working in a small team within a global
multidisciplinary consultancy. Accomplished in all aspects of the
design process, he has been involved in a diverse range of projects,
including design research, cross disciplinary collaboration programs
and brand analysis consulting. With proven leadership and team working
skills, he has developed and motivated others to achieve studio and
client objectives. He is dedicated to maintaining high standards of
work whilst always pushing for innovation and creativity. Whyte
currently practices as a freelance multidisciplinary design consultant,
providing services ranging from initial concept to final model
development, prototyping and project management.
