About me

I am a designer working and living in Bedfordshire. Through industry and university projects i have trained in Web, Graphic, Industrial and Transportation design. I am currently working freelance whilst looking for a permanent position. I have a wide interest in design as a whole and always push myself to learn new skills and develop as a creative professional. My skills range from conceptual design work to interactive web and media projects. I have studied Product design for four years and Transport design for one. I am now ready to apply my skills set and enthusiasm within a company where i hope to grow and quickly become a vital asset to a creative team.
I am competent in generating ideas for new products from consumer research, and developing them into product solutions via hand sketching and CAD modeling. Working in a model making and prototyping company has given me a sound knowledge of materials, manufacturing processes and vitally a professional level of presentation. Through my work experience i was sent on courses in both surface and parametric modeling which allows me to output final concepts quickly and effectively.
During my masters degree I completed a wide range of web, graphic and visual effects courses in my spare time. I now have a large skill base in web design, html, css, Flash (as3) and After effects. I constantly find that these skills link in with my industrial work and have made me more dynamic as a designer especially from a presentation standpoint.
