About me
Fine Art student due to graduate in 2019 with a predicted 2:1 or above, staying in Leeds/Yorkshire post-grad. Interested in working in the sector of interior design, interior styling and creative marketing . I enjoy generating and amalgamating creative ideas, research and working closely with clients and teams to drive for success and deliver results.
As an Artist my practice explores a personal encounter with textiles, using traditional techniques such as pleating and gathering to speak of sculptural concerns in relation to how the fabric responds to this sort of material manipulation.
Found domestic objects are commonly used in my work, the use of these stem from my interest in interior design and a history of decorating and upcycling in my family house. They offer the comfort of home and a gateway to the imagined passed, a history that may never be known, a catalogue of second-hand cultures.
