About me

I am a recent graduate of the University of Westminster's MA Interior Design program. During my time on the course, I was very engaged with the community and projects happening within and around it. As a recipient of the 125 Award I organized an excursion to a workshop in Warsaw where I learned how to design and build my own wooden furniture. I also led a Co-Creators project, devising a series of workshops for the MA students with the aim of improving the learning atmosphere at the course. Furthermore I designed the bench for the pavilion at the Festival of Architecture in collaboration with the architecture students. These projects, which I completed in addition to my coursework, expanded my skill set and understanding of design as well as improving my collaborative abilities.

My professional journey, first as a set and costume designer and now as an interior designer gave me a perspective on the entirety of the design process, from the conception to the creation of the final product. The importance of research and contextual analysis in visual design is sometimes underestimated, for my process it is pivotal. It also means I am used to adapting my vision to the practicalities of a given brief. In my portfolio you can find examples of my previous projects and the wide variety of skills from 3D visualisation to illustration to crafting objects by hand which I have developed in professional and educational contexts, as well as out of a personal desire in my own time.
