Hi, I'm Madeleine!
I'm a freelance EVS Operator and Video Editor with around 20 years of experience in the television and broadcast industry, specialising in live productions, sports broadcasting and post-production.
Throughout my career, I've worked with a wide range of broadcasters and production companies, including ARD, ZDF, MDR, NEP New Zealand, NEP Australia, Sky TV, TVNZ and various international production teams.
My professional experience includes multiple Olympic and Paralympic Games, UEFA and FIFA events, international rugby competitions, motorsport, tennis, winter sports and entertainment productions. I've worked on everything from large-scale international broadcasts to smaller, highly specialised productions, gaining a broad understanding of different workflows, technical environments and production requirements.
Having spent seven years living and working in New Zealand, I've developed extensive experience in international broadcast environments. Working with multicultural teams, communicating in English and adapting to different production standards have become an integral part of my professional life.
My technical expertise includes EVS XT and VIA systems, XFile, IPDirector, Avid Media Composer and Adobe Premiere Pro. My background across EVS operations, video editing and technical production allows me to understand the bigger picture and contribute effectively to different stages of a broadcast workflow.
One of my greatest strengths is my ability to adapt quickly to new environments, technologies and production requirements. Over the years, I've worked under a wide variety of conditions, often with tight deadlines and complex technical demands. These experiences have taught me to remain calm, focused and solution-oriented, even in high-pressure situations.
I approach every production with the confidence that comes from experience, combined with the flexibility and willingness to take on new challenges. Regardless of the scale, format or technical complexity, my priority is always to deliver reliable results and contribute to a successful production.

I'm currently based in Germany and available for freelance opportunities throughout Europe and internationally. I'm particularly interested in expanding my work with international broadcasters and production companies, while remaining open to different formats, technical roles and new professional opportunities.
