About me
My name is Maddison O'Reilly, I am from Milton Keynes and have been passionate about photography for as long as I can remember, I can remember the moment I found out that being a photographer was a real career when I was in year 5 at school and from then I knew that was what I was going to do when I grew up.
I went on to photograph my friends and family for fun and with these images being seen I got my first paid photography job at 14 which was photographing 3 kidsI babysat. I then started receiving enquires to shoot weddings and more family shoots when I turned 15. I did my first wedding job when I was just turning 16.
From the experience I had I wanted to learn more about photography and how to make myself better. This lead me to Milton Keynes College where I learned the basics on how to set up a studio, improve my photoshop skills, shoot 35mm film as well as a lot more.
After my 2 years at college I attended Falmouth University in Cornwall to study BA (Hons) Fashion Photography.
During my 3 years at Falmouth I attended London Fashion Week to shoot street style, Interviewed creator of ShowStudio Nick Knight, Worked with brands such as Finisterre shooting for their new collection. I also got the opportunity to work with Ted Baker assisting on their e-commerce shoot for their 'Colour By Numbers' collection, creating publications of my own, working with Virgin signed band 'Fort Hope' and being a part of creating the 'Perspectives' exhibition that took place in Hoxton Arches in London where I was able to showcase my work.
