About me

I am a recent graduate student from Loughborough University with a degree in Multi-Media Textiles. Throughout my degree I have been very interested in producing functional interactive products. Most ideas involve folds/flaps etc. As well as developing interactive products I am very keen on drawing and producing interesting patterns.

I have been very interested in a few different products wallpaper, flooring and soft shapes all of which are interactive. My wallpaper involves changing an existing pattern that I have designed through flaps and folds. The wallpaper is actually magnetic so is easy to change. The wallpaper designs are either small flaps which just changes the colour of the existing pattern or being able to actually change the whole pattern to revile a new design underneath. Another idea I have worked on is interactive flooring which is made from rubber. This idea consists of a pattern cut from different coloured individual tiles that can be moved around to change the colour therefore changing the whole look of the floor. My final product I have looked at are shaped objects that you can move and make interesting shapes that are soft and comforting, which would be very good for small children also intended for a possible furniture end use

These are just a few of the many ideas i have and have begun to develop.
