About me

This is my seventh year in media production, in which time I have worked in areas as diverse as comedy, factual and corporate production. Predominantly a Content Producer, I have made short films and VT's in production areas ranging from CBBC to the BBC's Internal Communications department.

During my time in children's television I made numerous films ranging from sport, to entertainment, through to coming up with brand new film strands which I developed and produced. For these role my duties included a great deal of self-shooting on Z1, directing, sourcing and auditioning contributors, finding locations, organising all aspects of shoots, editing and script-writing.

Working as a Content Producer means I am very experienced in single-handedly organising all aspects of a shoot and being away on location. I have also spent time doing live and pre-recorded studio work which involved a great deal of script-writing, coming up with new ideas on a daily basis, looking after contributors and being able to adapt to and act on last minute changes.

Due to my experience of directing and self-shooting I am able to construct strong narratives and work up compelling storylines where necessary, whilst being aware of editorial policy.

I am experienced in running and organising shoots, both single and multi-camera.

I am an enthusiastic and meticulous member of the current team and I excel at producing excellent work in a high pressured environment. I have an invaluable understanding and experience of the media production process and am very capable of producing outstanding work with a quick turn around.
