About me
Hi there, I'm Lydia and I am a multimedia designer based in London and Hong Kong, I began my journey in painting when I was studying fine art in Boston at an 14. I later on expanded my pursuit in painting from canvas to textile and completed my BA in surface textile at London College of Fashion.
I have always been fascinated by how a 3D object can transition into a 2D form from different perspectives; therefore, my practice also revolves around this idea by making textiles looking like an object, and making garments looking like a painting.
In 2018, I completed a two-year MA in Womenswear design at Royal College of Art. My graduate collection Nebulous Erotica aimed to challenge the idea of Form, and I was trying to give a different perspective on New Age Intimacy in this digitalised generation.
