· Strong working knowledge of IT applications, including Word, Quark Xpress, photoshop, fotostation and the internet.

· Accurate note taker with 100wpm shorthand and 45wpm typing speed.

· Confident and experienced in reporting press conferences, civil and criminal court proceedings, public meetings and political debates, including coverage of two general elections.

· Proven ability to write in clear and concise English, presenting complicated stories in a straightforward manner.
