About me

I feel I would be a valuable asset to any Creative team because, as well being a graduate of the University Of East Anglia's prestigious Creative Writing M.A., I have several years of experience of copywriting and copy editing. In my current position I create and edit copy for some of the world's best-known companies on a daily basis, such as Ford, IBM, Hewlett Packard, Qantas and many more. I have worked on copy for an enormous range of products and services, everything from recently developed farming equipment to new IP Convergence solutions.

I'm hard-working, reliable and courteous to clients, customers and co-workers. Outside of work, directing six plays during my time at university gave me an enormous amount of experience of working at the head of a close-knit team with strict limitations on time and budget, and writing in my spare time means that I'm constantly honing and refining my writing techniques. I also find that I'm able to write in a variety of tones and voices to suit any medium; which I think is essential in a job like this.

I'm looking to branch out from my current job (where copywriting/editing is about half of what my position entails) to a job where I'm able to focus on what I really enjoy - copywriting, copy editing and proof reading.
