Dear Sir/Madame

I am Applying for the position of Photographic Assistant; I believe I would be a good candidate for this position as I have a strong background in photography after studying it at university and also have a strong passion for the subject too. I comfortably know my way around the studio. As I have a strong understanding in how to set up a studio and am confident in setting up lighting, arranging the composition of the set and making sure all the equipment is working correctly these tasks were also put into practice when I done some work experience as an assistant at a photography studio in Manchester called S2 I hope that the knowledge and skills I learned there, I will be able to adapt and use them within your studio.

I also have a strong eye for detail so when arranging the shoot I always tend to keep an eye out to make sure everything is in place on set. I also have good knowledge of Photoshop as I used it on a daily basis while at university.

I am also a very confident person with excellent communication skills which I built up while working within retail, I am a trust worthy person who is wanting to succeed in life and would like the opportunity to prove my self and would be happy to undergo any training which may go with the position. In the future I would also like to progress within your company if the opportunity.
