Dear sir/madam I am writing to you in presence to your advertisement for position, junior designer

I am an extremely motivated individual with a great passion and aptitude for design. I have pursued my long standing interest with art and design from an early age.

I create my own graphic based artwork and incorporate my own photography and hand drawings into my work. Those in the industry have told me that the work I produce is to a very pleasing standard, this has inspired me to start a boutique clothing brand called DeathbyCutie. I now have a live website which I designed and helped to build, it was an invaluable experience and I have gained an introductive level into web development.

I created my designs for DeathbyCutie in the design studio, Peter and Paul Design, which gave me the advantage of working in a graphic design environment, around respected and talented senior designers. Whilst working at Peter and Paul Design my abilities attracted their attention and I was given small tasks on a variety of projects. My design mind sees potential in everything, I live and breath design. I learn constantly and my knowledge base is growing considerably. I can use Photoshop at a fairly high level and also mainly InDesign and illustrator. As a young designer I foresee what is developing to be the next generation of design, and what I need to master to stay ahead. I have started to self learn 3D software as I see great potential for digital design in this area. Since working at Peter and Paul, I was given the opportunity to work under an individual at PAPA imaging. I have learnt high level image retouching and manipulation. I have been taught how to look at digital images and create and prepare for all types of projects.

In my design career so far, I have worked on an unpaid basis and I have given all the opportunities 110% commitment to prepare myself for my future.

I am at the point where I want to transform a passion into a career. As a junior I want to learn from real designers in a professional environment, with the prospect of my mobility within the company.
