About me
I come from a copywriting/journalist background - particularly sport - but have experience writing and editing in a number of different fields and am keen to pursue a role where upon I can expand these skills.
In my current role I edit our magazine - for digital and print platforms - as well as write long and short form copy for our website, blog, social media, B2B and marketing campaigns.
With an active interest and up-to-date knowledge in the sporting industry, I have covered mainstream sport as well as more specialist disciplines including snowboarding, adventurism and Ultra-Running. I have also written fashion, food/drink, travel and lifestyle content.
I wish to improve my editing and writing skills, working for a respected brand that has a reputation to be upheld. I have reached the point in my current position where I have improved our publication and increased its readership continuously in my time here and am looking to do something similar in a more challenging environment.
