About me

Graduated in 2008 with BA Graphic Communication. I am a junior designer with a broad spectrum of artistic interests; though my expert field is print and motion graphics. I am motivated by the development of static imagery through the injection of vitality and animation.

I am always keen to experiment with motion and light and continue to pursue avenues through which I can develop my abilities. I am stimulated by the constant change and development within the design industry and invest time actively researching the new technologies that will enhance my processes. I have recently begun to experiment with digital projection and lighting techniques, following the work of the Graffiti Research Labs. Music is also of integral importance to my work., I am confident in my ability and personal vehemence in this area when combing music with motion graphics.

My work demonstrates expert and increasing knowledge of Adobe Photoshop, After Effects, Illustrator, InDesign and Dreamweaver. I also have a a lot of experience in the use of Flash, Soundbooth, Premier and Ableton Live. A more recent development has been experimenting with Cinema 4D & Maya; with which I am becoming increasingly confident. Happy to work with both, mac and windows operating systems.

I count David Fincer & Michael Mann amongst my greatest influences; though I also enjoy the work of designers MK12, Shynola & Pattern.tv within other forms of media.
