I'm Luiz - a Brazilian-Welsh multi-award-winning Animation Director, Designer, and Illustrator with over 10 years of experience across animation, illustration, motion design, and creative/art direction for clients, agencies, and studios - big and small.
I create visually distinctive work that blends playful storytelling with bold design. My strengths include concept ideation/development, character design, attention to detail, communication - and I'm generally a good laugh to have around.
I've worked on everything from idents and explainers to 360 campaigns, DOOH, children's books, music videos, editorial, and short films. While I often work independently, I've also directed teams and love collaborating to solve problems, grow ideas, and create the best work possible.
