About me
As you can see, I have recently graduated from the University of Nottingham with a Part II Postgraduate Diploma in Architecture at distinction level. Following the completion of my RIBA Part I Bachelor of Architecture, I worked for twenty months for Rafael Viñoly Architects in London and returned there last summer for a further three months. I am now keen to further develop my skills by embarking on new challenges which I believe your practice would be able to offer. During my time at Rafael Viñoly I worked on various competitions and projects within the office. Whilst completing my Part I placement between 2006 - 2007 I was predominantly involved with the Oxford University Masterplan and Mathematical Institute in Oxford. The Mathematical Institute is a £40 million faculty and teaching facility which I worked on from its conception through to Stage D. As a committed member of our team of three, I was fully involved in client and consultant meetings and correspondence and attended design workshops in the New York Office on two occasions. I also managed and designed the office's £150,000 expansion which involved full building works and furniture design and construction, and was completed in May 2007. On returning to the practice last summer, I was involved with a large mixed-use complex in Bahrain, completing Stage D and E drawings for residential apartments within three high rise towers. I am a hard-working and dedicated individual with a passion for architectural design and I would be grateful for the opportunity to discuss potential openings within your practice.
