About me

I am currently employed as the Design and Workshop Manager at
Winther Browne, with overall responsibility for the design and
production of fireplaces and furniture. This has enabled me to develop
my designs from concept to manufacture for a range of multinational
companies, and to consolidate my skills in product design.
I am experienced in a number of IT packages including; Solidworks
CAD software, Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator. I have over 3 years
experience working as a Product Designer in a range of industries.
I have also excelled in sustainable design, having established an
up-cycling project which supplies jewellery and lights to a range of
companies, including The Science Museum. This has enabled me to refine
my design skills and to gain valuable experience in a new field. Many
of my designs for this project have been recognised by prominent
publications including the Financial Times, Time Out and 1000 Eco
Designs and Where to Find Them.
I have reached a pivotal point in my career, having excelled in my
current role, and I am seeking a new challenge.
I am a high achiever, having gained a First Class Degree in Product
Design and winning the Engineering Prize for best overall performance.
I would welcome the opportunity to apply these skills and to contribute
to your design portfolio.
