About Lucy
Hi,
I am an experienced digital designer, with a deep-rooted understanding of all things digital (and quite a few things print!) I am fuelled by passion & creativity, and have committed all the bits of myself that I have to what it is that I do. I have experience working in-house as part of a marketing and digital team, as well as at a creative agency, working with clients & colleagues of all different shapes, sizes, approaches and media's.
I have a loving relationship with print, illustration & graphic design, but have melted into all things digital.
I've worked on a whole host of different projects with bespoke requirements. I've got experience in creative strategy, art direction, branding & identity, website design, interactive media, working to the rules/brand guidelines & creating the rules/brand guidelines, front-end development, e-mail marketing, wireframe and prototyping, UI/UX design, Wordpress & other CMS systems. I am able to work in an agile & modular way, or manage my own projects. I love growing relationships with clients & being around people who are mad passionate about what they do.
I adore everything about my career choice & life, I have an insanely positive outlook on life & give all I have to everything I do. I love that design causes me discomfort, to push some boundaries and snap them apart, building beautiful, intricate, but overwhelmingly functional experiences to talk to new people and communicate solid values, morals & manners. Solving problems with practical creativity & adding a little bit of colour & juice to the ordinary. Digital storytelling is where my passion & abilities lie, sit, stand & jump about outrageously.
I get excited by being in a room, or a team with people who have different approaches, different skillsets, but get lit by the same flame, and want to build to the same goals. Authenticity is a major thing for me & I feel like you guys have a set bundle of values & attitudes that I really want to be a part of.
