ABOUT
Fashion Indians AI is a visual essay that aims to reinterpret indigenous clothing from different cultures around the world in a contemporary way.
The project uses models with indigenous physical features to celebrate the diversity of cultures and recover the value of the indigenous as a symbol of identity and belonging. Unlike an anthropological approach,
Fashion Indians AI does not focus on studying traditional dress in detail. Instead, the project freely reinterprets garments from different cultures and blends them with contemporary fashion to create a fusion of designs, textures, volumes, and patterns that represent diversity in a contemporary way.
This visual essay uses Artificial Intelligence to merge two very different worlds: that of fashion and that of ancestral cultures. This project represents a space of exploration and exploitation of the great potential of AI.
