About me
After working as a junior designer for a greetings card company for almost a year, I am now looking for the opportunity to progress my skills further. This job role has shown me I have a passion for design and print in particular. Using the skills I have learnt I now want to improve my level of design to compliment my understanding of print and pre-press processes.
My daily duties include creating and amending product catalogues and recreating the artist's sketches in Illustrator and Photoshop, artworking designs in InDesign ready for print including special processes such as spot uv, flitter, emboss etc, preflighting artwork in Acrobat ready for print, checking wet proofs and sign off with printers directly, retouching designs as mock ups for contact sheets, creating hard copy mock ups, updating product website and distributing catalogues via ftp.
I believe I have the necessary skills, motivation, and enthusiasm to contribute positively and perform well within your organisation.
