About me

I am currently in my final year at the University of Central Lancashire where I am taking a combined BA (Hons) degree in Fashion and Brand Promotion and Marketing.

As you will see from my attached CV, I have developed excellent oral and written communication skills through my course work and work experience. In addition I am able to work well with other people. My role as a team member in Principles and as a visual merchandiser in Debenhams required me not only to work alongside and motivate other members of staff but also I developed the skill of self motivation as I worked alone on many occasions.

The awards that I have won and my academic performance illustrate that I am a hard working and focused individual and also demonstrate that I have good time management skills along with the ability to work under pressure. My academic work requires a high degree of creativity and attention to detail. I enjoy creating marketing campaigns and have found this work to be particularly satisfying. My IT skills are well developed as a result of this. I see all these qualities as relevant to the role in creative promotion.

This position offers me the opportunity to work in the fashion industry where I can make use of my design and creative skills. From your advertisement I see that I would be involved in promotional projects at an early stage which is very appealing. In addition I am attracted by the opportunity to work on a wide variety of future projects. I notice that you place great emphasis on training in the job description and this is important to me. For all these reasons, a career in promotional appears to suit my personality and skills and I am very focused and committed in achieving this goal.
