About me

I am writing to apply for the role of Production co-coordinator, please find my CV attached. Having just finished my BA in Photography and an internship with GQ magazine I feel I am ready for the next step in my career. I think this job could be exactly what I am looking for and feel I would be well suited to the role. During my degree I have consistently worked within a studio environment meaning I have a good knowledge of lighting, composition, working with models and other photographers. While interning at GQ I have assisted the photographic director on multiple celebrity shoots, looking after the clients, organising pick ups and deliveries of equipment and props to the shoots, assisted the stylists and generally helped in the smooth running of the days. I feel I have a broad range of experience and knowledge that I could bring to this role. I am a good communicator and a very well organised, I also work well as part of a team and mix well with new people.

As part of my degree I have constantly been editing my own images and selecting final images for submission as well as helping others to do the same. I feel I have good attention to detail and I have also helped create advertising posters and an exhibition catalogue for the end of year group show in my second year. I possess a strong knowledge of Adobe Photoshop, Aftereffects, Premiere Pro, Dreamweaver and Indesign, as well as Microsoft Office, such as Word, Excel and Powerpoint and video editing software like Final Cut Pro.

I believe I am a good fit for this role and will work well as part of your team, I look forward to hearing from you.

Kind regards,

Louise Preedy
